Pilates Instructors

Nicola Chernicoff

Nicola was born and raised in England, training at the Legat Ballet School before dancing professionally in UK touring productions for Andrew Lloyd Webber and Wayne Sleep. Her path wound through fitness training in New York and interior design in London and NYC before Pilates called her home especially once she discovered the apparatus, now her specialty.

Nicola completed her 500-hour Club Pilates teacher training in 2024 and teaches small group classes and private clients focused on posture, pain reduction, and injury prevention.

Patient and encouraging, Nicola meets clients where they are, hoping to be a motivating presence in their journey toward lasting health and vitality.

Kathleen Rezvani

Kathleen is a proud Jersey City resident who discovered Pilates five years ago as a powerful form of strength training, self-care and stress relief.

She is currently pursuing her instructor certification through Balanced Body, with apparatus as her specialty.

Kathleen's greatest strength as a teacher is her positive energy and sense of fun, paired with just the right amount of challenge in every class. Her hope is for clients to walk away feeling strong, confident, and empowered.

Outside of the studio, Kathleen works in Corporate Development in NYC and enjoys spending time with her husband and their lovable Mini Poodle.

Leanna Welch

Leanna found Pilates through decades of chronic pain from degenerative disc disease and severe sciatic pain that led to partial paralysis and halted her love of outdoor sports, yoga, and dance. Pilates gave her a way back into her body, and everything she teaches blossomed from that recovery.

She trained with Hahn Tran at Project Pilates, she is certified in Mat Pilates from Gramercy Pilates, and has logged over 800 clinical training hours in mat and comprehensive apparatus at the Kane School of Core Integration, and has since studied under Maria Earle, Blossom Leilani, and Tom Myers' Anatomy Trains program.

Her specialties are prenatal/postpartum work, pain management, and exploring joyful embodiment. Her anatomy-driven, fun, breath-centered teaching combines revelry with rigorous training.

Leanna hopes to keep deepening her practice and help others feel empowered to move through life's setbacks
